The service is excellent at the Dam Deli and just on the Ocoee River. The pleasant personalities of the waitress, the menu options and the ultimate results of foods we're all incredible. I would encourage anyand all to check out the Ocoee Dam Deli. You definitely will not regret it.
I have been there 3 times but have only eaten there once. The food is good and reasonably priced. It's the service that sucks. To say it's bad would be a compliment. Our first time there our waitress was more interested in flirting with boys then serving her tables. We waited 35 minutes before we seen her after she brought our first drinks. We got up and left. 2nd time there we went for dinner. The service was really slow and the place wasn't really busy. The food was good but nothing to write home about. The third time there we walked in for breakfast. Sat down and asked the waiter how long they would be. He said at least 30 minutes after we order. That they were backed up. We got up and left. We will give it another shot in a few months. Will keep y'all updated.
Great casual place to eat. A real unexpected pleasure. Was looking for a place to grab a quick meal, and found this diner on the maps. On Tuesday, they offer fried shrimp. Best I've had since I lived on the Gulf Coast. Lots of options on the menu, including blue cheese burgers and pastrami Reuben sandwiches, as well as classic deli food. Highly recommend this place!
Great service, excellent food. I've eaten at several places in the area, and this one tops them all. Prices are very reasonable, with a bonus being that most ingredients are sourced from local farms. The Dam Burger is amazing, as well as any of the fried pies. I have no complaints at all. Excellent place to eat at after a day on the Ocoee river.
We go to Cleveland all the time and this restaurant is always packed. Decided to eat there on Sunday. We were there right at 11:30. We were seated right away in a spacious booth. Our server Brandon was very good and attentive. We tried the fried pickles they were good I just prefer the pickle chips. I ordered the huge hamburger steak with mashed taters, buttered corn and Mac and cheese. The burger was so over cooked I had to get a side of gravy to make it edible. But the corn looked and tasted old not yellow like it should be kind of brown. The mashed potatoes were cold and dry. My daughter ordered the Blue Plate Special which was a chicken casserole. It was good but it came in a very small bowl not what you would expect an entree to look like. My husband ordered the pot roast. It was tender but again no flavor no juice no gravy. We didn't get dessert even though they sounded great. Very disappointed in our meal. No reason to ever go back.
